Squadron 45 Vision Statement
The motto of the March Field Composite Squadron 45 is “For the Future”. We are dedicated to continuing to provide a great place for our future leaders to get a jump-‐start on the rest of their lives and for adult members to serve their community.
Recruiting new members will always remain an important part of our mission.
We have put together programs to help simplify the advancement of new members, and remove the apprehension and questions that slow the progression of our new Cadets in their first few promotions. Cadet programs are very important to our squadron. We will continue to offer education and training to our Cadets with the goal of improving followership and leaderships skills as well as enhancing their understanding of topics related to aerospace, safety, emergency services, and drug demand reduction.
We will be helping our cadets with the transition to online testing
Cadets will be encouraged to participate in Basic Cadet School, Airman Training School and Encampments Professional development for Senior members enhances the capabilities of our squadron. Our professional development program has a new push towards cross training
We are introducing an apprenticeship style of on-‐the-‐job training for our Senior members where they will have guided, “hands on”
experience for their new job.
We are continuing to grow our Emergency Services capabilities and involvement with other emergency service professionals. Cadets and Senior members both are encouraged to learn about and participate in this important aspect of CAP. Aerospace education for Cadets and Senior members will continue to be
important to our squadron.
We are responding to Cadet interest in model rocketry
We will continue to participate in the AEX program while also taking advantage of the unique opportunities offered to us by our location at March Air Reserve Base.
We will continue to do as much as possible for the Air Force including participating in MARBs Airshow, the 163rd Family day, the Base Picnic, and other projects.
Promoting and maintaining this great relationship should continue to benefit us well into the future.
